2 contest deadlines approaching!

Both of our current contest deadlines are fast approaching!!
First, you have until midnight this Friday, February 26th to enter the Second Chance Honeymoon stay giveaway courtesy of Destined2Wed. The winner will be selected at the sixth annual Hopkinsville Bridal Expo on Sunday. You do not need to be present to win, but you will want to attend this show. It is from 1 - 5 at the James E. Bruce Convention Center.
If you attended the ClarksvilleBrides Wedding & Event Showcase in January and participated in the bouquet toss, you are eligible to enter this re-drawing.
Second, you have until midnight this Sunday, February 28th to enter the drawing for $500 in wedding services from any of the advertisers in the Fall 2009 issue of our new magazine - Clarksville & Hopkinsville Weddings. This new magazine is the first and only magazine dedicated to local weddings. It is written by local wedding professionals for local brides. Pick up your copy at The Brides Boutique, Something Blue Bridal, McKenzie & Smiley Jewelers or Sango Village Florist. Or you can read it online. Check out the magazine and tell us your thoughts in our survey.

Our latest member, photographer Kristina White of Kristina White's Classic Creations Photography, offers a very casual, laid back, photo-journalistic style. Whenever possible, she uses natural light and weather permitting prefers to shoot outside.

Joon Powell is a photojournalist with a decade of experience. She earned her BFA in Photographic Illustration at the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2004. Since that time, she has served as a staff photojournalist in her hometown of Elizabeth City, North Carolina, interned with the Smithsonian Natural History Museum in Washington, DC and professionally freelanced for local and national clients. Her work has been published by The Virginian Pilot, The Tennessean, The Nashville City Paper, AARP, Wildlife in North Carolina Magazine as well as other professional periodicals. Many of Joon's local clients include non-profits which focus on helping the homeless and those without healthcare.
Joon has a passion for visual storytelling and her unique skills in photojournalism and portraiture have made her adept at documenting extra special days.
