Something Social - TOMORROW NIGHT
Coming up Wednesday, October 14th is Something Social at Something Blue.
Grab a friend after work and head over to their shop - 894 Hwy 76 near Pancho Villa - for the monthly Something Social event.
Featuring: 2 minute chair massages to relieve the stress of your day!, makeovers by Mary Kay, Letters of Love engraved jewelry (terrific for bridesmaids gifts!) and Jubilee Plantation Catering.
Something Social is held from 5 - 7 pm the second Wednesday of each month featuring ideas for your wedding and a relaxing evening with wonderful people in a fun and lovely setting.

The Cake Artist - Verna Chlupsa

If you attended our January 2009 Bridal Show you should remember this cake. It was certainly a show stopper as brides lined up to take a closer look! Verna Chlupsa - quite aptly named The Cake Artist - created this beauty for the show and she can create the cake of your dreams.
Debra Harris of Visions Event Planning spoke with Verna recently and she tells us, "Verna began her business due to her fascination with sugar flowers. She began making cakes for friends and family and over the years her baking evolved to wedding cakes. Verna offers both butter cream and fondant icings. Verna, an artist at heart, designs breathtaking wedding cakes. She is limited only by your imagination.
