Melanie and Steven hired The Cake Artist to create their wedding cake and groom's cake. The Cake Artist once again created clean, classic cakes that were not only beautiful to look at, but they tasted great as well! If you'd like to sample some of The Cake Artist's work, be sure to stop by their booth at the upcoming Clarksville Brides Wedding & Event Showcase on Sunday, January 12, 2014 at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center from 12 pm - 4 pm.

Wedding vendors, booth registration for the showcase is due TOMORROW, by January 6, 2014!! We have limited booth spaces available so please contact us asap to reserve your spot! If you want to exhibit your business at the bridal show, e-mail info@clarksvillebrides.com to request registration forms.

Showcase events will include a fashion show, live musical performances, bridal games, and our signature event, The Cake Dive. Tips for Ordering Your Wedding Cake

When it comes time to sit down with your cake baker and order your wedding cake, be sure you are prepared! Heather Noble, owner of Covered with Icing, has some great tips and suggestions for ordering your cake for your special day. TLC was in Nashville Sunday, March 11th filming a spin-off of Say Yes to the Dress called Randy to the Rescue. Randy Fenoli and his team travel to 8 cities to meet with brides who would not normally be able to fly to NYC to meet him. He brought 200 gowns from some of the finest designers and also brought hair and makeup teams in to make each bride feel even more beautiful.I had spent a week in Louisiana with the Sweet Southern Ladies in January, who had been on and won Ultimate Cake-Off from TLC. They were asked to be a part of the Randy to the Rescue event in New Orleans a few weeks ago and recommended that TLC call me when they moved onto Nashville. Courtney Hammons from A Magical Affair designed my booth.It was such a fun experience to see the production side of such a fabulous show and I really loved meeting Randy and the whole crew. VERY down to earth people who absolutely LOVED my petit fours and cake truffles.
