Melanie and Cody got married at the James E Bruce Convention Center. It's always great when a venue can accommodate both ceremonies and receptions, cutting down on travel time and venue expenses. Their ceremony, held in one of the ballrooms, was GORGEOUS! The white drapery on the walls and cascading down from the ceiling looks amazing! Their reception in another ballroom was decorated in a navy blue palette, and everything turned out beautifully!

One of my favorite features of this wedding was Betsy and Kenny's cake by The Cake Artist. The cake was designed to match the bride's dress and it is phenomenal! The Cake Artist won this year's wedding dress inspired cake contest at the 2011 Clarksville Brides Wedding & Event Showcase. Gown Shoot: The Planner

Happy June! Today we're wrapping up our coverage of the newest ClarksvilleBrides.com gown shoot by Katie Wright Photography. Debra Harris, of Visions by Debra, coordinated (and modeled for) the fabulous new shoot. We were short on models and Debra volunteered herself (see photo to left) to help out the shoot any way she could! Debra donned some beautiful mother of the bride dresses for the photographs and the fact that she was willing to do anything to make the gown shoot a success is really a testament to her dedication to her work.
