"As you know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and my mom is a 21 year survivor this year. I have walked 60 miles in 3 days, I have raised literally thousands of dollars over the years and I STILL have friends fighting horrible fights against this disease as I type. My friend Taira has a rare form and has been fighting a long time. My donations could go many places but right now, I feel her family needs it most.

TLC was in Nashville Sunday, March 11th filming a spin-off of Say Yes to the Dress called Randy to the Rescue. Randy Fenoli and his team travel to 8 cities to meet with brides who would not normally be able to fly to NYC to meet him. He brought 200 gowns from some of the finest designers and also brought hair and makeup teams in to make each bride feel even more beautiful.
I had spent a week in Louisiana with the Sweet Southern Ladies in January, who had been on and won Ultimate Cake-Off from TLC. They were asked to be a part of the Randy to the Rescue event in New Orleans a few weeks ago and recommended that TLC call me when they moved onto Nashville. Courtney Hammons from A Magical Affair designed my booth.
It was such a fun experience to see the production side of such a fabulous show and I really loved meeting Randy and the whole crew. VERY down to earth people who absolutely LOVED my petit fours and cake truffles.
