2013 Wedding & Event Showcase!

Who's ready for the upcoming 2013 Clarksville Brides Wedding & Event Showcase??!? We're so pumped this year about the new location of the show and all of the AMAZING new vendors joining us for the event. The bridal show will be Sunday, January 13, 2013 from noon to 4:00 pm at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center.

Admission is $8 per person at the door or just $5 per person for pre-registered brides and their guests. Brides, you can click here to pre-register for the event. Pre-registration not only gets you the discounted entrance price, but also grants you and your guests expedited entry into the show.

The upcoming Clarksville Brides Wedding & Event Showcase is going to feature:
-DIY demonstrations for budget brides
-our 3rd annual Cake Competition - you vote on the best cake designed by local bakers!
-live musical performances by The Peter Moon Band
-live musical performance by Greg Pope, featuring his hot, new Father/Daughter Dance song
-our signature event, the Cake Dive! One lucky bride will leave the showcase with a diamond necklace courtesy of McKenzie & Smiley Jewelers

Wedding professionals, if you are interested in having a booth at the show, exhibitor registration is still open, but booth space is limited so click here to request an exhibitor packet asap!

Whitney and Brandon got all of their wedding bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, and floral arrangements from Sango Village Florist. Whitney carried an all-white bouquet, while the bridesmaids' bouquets had some green mixed in with the white, and we love how the green really pops against the purple bridesmaids' dresses! Be sure to check out the reception centerpiece by Sango Village Florist (see bottom photo) - it's a gorgeous, bright floral arrangement that really stands out on the black tablecloth.

Stephanie & Kinley: The Color Palette

I love Stephanie and Kinley's blue and orange wedding color palette! Usually when you see these colors together in this palette, it's a royal blue and a bright orange, but I'm loving the more muted tones they used in their wedding! The blue color of the bridesmaids' dresses is gorgeous - I think that color looks amazing on any skin tone. And I love that the orange isn't bright and bold, but it's definitely more of a subtle accent color. Nomination ballots are available starting in July/August. The ballots are counted and the top 5 nominations are selected to participate in the final voting. Final votes are cast on the day of the annual event, and the winners at announced at the end of the night.
